Air fry for approximately 4 minutes.
Once the 4 minutes have passed, open the air fryer basket, and flip over the French toast sticks. Continue air frying for another 3 to 4 minutes until the French toast is done to your preference.
Once they are done cooking, remove them from the air fryer basket, add your desired toppings, serve, and enjoy!

You can also make homemade French toast sticks, and cook them in your air fryer if desired. To do this you will need sliced bread, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract.
Start by preheating your air fryer to 350°F (177°C)
While your air fryer is heating, in a mixing bowl whisk together four eggs, 1 teaspoon of vanilla, and ¾ cup of milk.
Next, take your slices of bread, and cut each slice into strips. Dip the strips in your mixture until all sides are soaked. Allow it to drip dry.
Place the egg-coated strips of bread into your air fryer basket, in a single layer with space in between. Air fry for approximately four minutes, then remove the strips and flip them over.
Continue air frying on the other side for another 3 to 4 minutes, or until your French toast sticks are crispy. Remove from the air fryer basket, serve, and enjoy!

Although this is not our favorite method because they often turn out mushy, you can simply place them on a microwave-safe plate and cover them with a paper towel.

There are a couple of different ways you can keep your air-fried French toast sticks warm if needed. To do this, we recommend placing them on a plate and putting them in the microwave with the microwave off for a little while until you are ready to serve.
You can also turn your oven on warm, or the lowest temperature it will go, then add your cooked French toast sticks into a pan and cover it with aluminum foil. Place into the oven for a few minutes, or until you’re ready to serve them.
