Next, add your remaining ingredients to your slow cooker and stir to combine. Cook on low for about eight hours, before serving. Before you serve, you can top with cheddar cheese, green onions, sour cream, fresh cilantro, or parsley.

1 ½ pound ground chuck

1 (15-ounce) can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 medium sweet onion, chopped
½ cup green bell pepper, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1.25 oz chili seasoning

Step 1: Brown Ground Chuck

In a skillet over medium-high heat, warm olive oil, and begin to brown your ground check. Once browned, add to your crockpot.

Step 2: Combine Ingredients

Add your remaining ingredients to the crockpot, stir, and cook covered over low heat, for eight hours.

Step 1: Brown Ground chuck

In a large soup pot, add ground beef, butter, and olive oil if desired. Cook your ground beef until it is about 90% completely cooked. 

Step 2: Sauté Onions

Add diced onion, and sauté until the onion becomes translucent in color.

Step 3: Add Seasonings

Add Worcestershire sauce and chili seasonings to your ground beef mixture. Stir.

Step 4: Add Everything Else

To your soup pot, add the remaining ingredients and stir to combine. Allow to cook over medium-low heat for about 20 minutes, or until your ingredients are thoroughly warmed through and have had time to meld together.

Jamie Deen’s Award-Winning Chili Recipe With Beer

The Deen brother’s chili recipe is very similar to the above recipe. To make the chili recipe from Paula’s sons, you will begin by sauteing 2 Tbsp olive oil, with 1 diced red onion, 1 diced yellow pepper, and 4 cloves garlic. In a separate pan, cook 1 pound ground beef, with 8 ounces Italian sausage. Once both are cooked, combine both pans into a soup pot, and add ¼ cup chili powder, 1 Tbsp cumin, 1 Tbsp oregano, 4-ounce tomato paste 12-ounce beer, 42-ounce canned diced tomatoes, 15-ounce black beans, 15-ounce kidney beans, and 15-ounce pinto beans. Simmer over medium-low heat before serving. 

Paula Deen’s Crockpot Potato Soup

To make crockpot potato soup, you will add 30 ounces of frozen hash brown potatoes into your crockpot. You will also add 28 ounces canned chicken broth, 10 ¾ ounce cream of chicken soup, ½ cup chopped onions, and 1/3 teaspoon black pepper. Stir to combine the ingredients. Cover and cook for about five hours over low heat. Add 8-ounce cream cheese and stir. Cook for an additional 30 minutes. Add desired toppings, then serve.
