With cinnamon roll peach cobbler you get to enjoy a different twist on a delightful recipe. If you are looking for a simple and delicious dessert or snack, this recipe is definitely one you should give a try. You can enjoy this finished dish as breakfast, brunch, snack, or even dessert!

Now, let’s look at what ingredients you’ll need in order to make this delicious dish!

Ingredients Needed to Make Peach Cobbler Cinnamon Rolls

Peaches. We recommend that you use canned peaches in juice for this recipe. However, if you want you can use fresh peaches or frozen peaches as well that will work fine.

The reason our preference is to use canned peaches is that they also come in juice, which helps to make your cobbler nice and moist.

But if you prefer to use another type of peaches these will work as well.

Cinnamon Rolls. For an easy and delicious recipe, we recommend that you use a tube of refrigerated cinnamon rolls.

You can use homemade for this recipe as well, but if you want an easy way out, a tube of refrigerated cinnamon rolls will work great and can be picked up for a reasonable price.

Brown Sugar. To help sweeten the peaches we recommend using brown sugar. We typically use light brown sugar, however dark brown sugar will help to make your mixture nice and moist.

The difference between light and dark brown sugar is not huge, so you may choose to use whatever you can find.

You may substitute brown sugar for granulated sugar, maple syrup, or honey if you prefer.

Cornstarch. We recommend using some cornstarch to help thicken the peach cobbler so that it is not all liquid.

If you need a substitute for cornstarch, you can use a bit of all-purpose flour mixed in as a substitute.

Cinnamon. We recommend using a bit of ground cinnamon to season your peach cobbler. This ingredient is optional, but we do strongly recommend including it.

Cloves. Another great spice that we strongly recommend including in your cinnamon roll is peach cobbler or ground cloves.

This ingredient is also optional, but we highly encourage you to include it.

Allspice. We also recommend that you include a bit of allspice in your peach cobbler.

Including allspice is optional, but we do recommend that you add it to the recipe in order for the best overall flavor.

How to make cinnamon roll peach cobbler:

Making your cinnamon roll peach cobbler is quite easy. Begin by opening your can of peaches in juice and pouring them into a mixing bowl.

NOTE: We recommend that you use canned peaches that are sliced and in juice, however you can’t use frozen peaches, or fresh peaches if you prefer.

For frozen peaches, you will simply want to remove them from their packaging and add them to a mixing bowl, it’s okay if they are still frozen.

For fresh peaches, you will want to first wash then cut them from the pit, and slice them before adding them to your mixing bowl.

In another small mixing bowl add brown sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, cloves, and allspice. Stir to combine. Doing the step first before adding them to your peaches will help to eliminate the possibility of clumps forming.

Sprinkle your sugar and spice mixture over the peaches. Then stir until combined.

Pour the peach mixture into a lightly greased baking dish. This recipe makes an 8 x 8 pan, or you can double it for a 9 x 13.

Next, open your tube of refrigerated cinnamon rolls and cut them into quarters. Set aside the frosting for later.

Distribute your quartered cinnamon rolls across the top of your peaches.

Place your assembled cobbler into the oven and preheat it to 350°F. (please note that you can preheat the oven ahead of time, but you want to be careful if your dish is glass, you do not want to cause it to crack in the oven.)

Bake in the oven at 350°F (177°C) for approximately 20 to 30 minutes or until the cinnamon rolls are baked, and the peach cobbler is bubbling.

Remove from the oven, and serve right away along with some vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. You can even drizzle the frosting packet on top of the cobbler once it is baked if you wish. Then serve and enjoy!

Baking and Topping

Baking. We recommend making this cobbler in an 8 x 8 baking dish, or if you double the recipe use a 9 x 13 baking dish.

We recommend baking this cobbler at 350°F (177°C) for approximately 20 to 30 minutes or until you begin to see that the cinnamon rolls are fully cooked, and the peach mixture is bubbling.

Please note the time may vary slightly depending on your specific oven.

Topping. There are many different things you can top your cinnamon roll peach cobbler with.

First, while it is baking you can make a cinnamon and sugar mixture and sprinkle it over the top of the entire cobbler before baking.

Another delicious topping that you can enjoy is adding ice cream or whipped cream to your cinnamon roll peach cobbler. These are a few of our favorite ways to top this cobbler.

How to Serve

The best way to enjoy this peach cobbler with cinnamon rolls is to serve it fresh from the oven. We recommend making it right before you want to serve it, then add your desired toppings, serve and enjoy.

How to Reheat

If you happen to have any leftovers and wish to reheat them for later, there are a few different ways you can reheat this cobbler.

In The Oven. To reheat your leftover peach cobbler with cinnamon rolls in the oven, we recommend covering your baking dish with aluminum foil, then placing it in the oven at 350°F (177°C), and baking until it is warm and bubbly.

This typically takes between 10 and 15 minutes.

In The Air Fryer. To reheat your leftover cobbler in the air fryer, you’ll want to make sure it is in an oven-safe dish that fits in your air fryer. Place it into the air fryer basket, then air fry at 350°F (177°C).

If possible, using the bake function, bake at 350°F (177°C) for approximately 6 to 10 minutes or until warmed through.

In The Microwave. Another way you can reheat leftovers is in the microwave, although it may change the original texture of your cobbler.

To reheat in the microwave, place onto a microwave-safe plate or a bowl, then cover with a slightly damp paper towel. Microwave for one to two minutes or until it is warm.

How to Store Tasty Cinnamon Rolls

Storing and Freezing

Store at room temperature. Cinnamon roll peach cobbler can be left at room temperature for up to two hours before it needs to be refrigerated.

Store in the fridge. For best results, we recommend that you transfer your cinnamon roll peach cobbler to an airtight container and then place it into the fridge for up to 3 to 4 days.

If needed, you could also cover the peach cobbler with plastic wrap before refrigerating.

How to freeze. A cinnamon roll peach cobbler can also be frozen if needed. We recommend freezing the peach cobbler once assembled before baking for the best results.

If needed you could also freeze it after it has been fully cooked, although the best results are found when frozen before baking.

To freeze, make sure to seal the cobbler in an airtight container, then place it into the freezer for up to three months.

FAQ for The Best Cinnamon Roll Peach Cobbler

What is the best way to make a cinnamon roll peach cobbler?

We recommend that the best way to make a cinnamon roll peach cobbler is to use canned peaches, a tube of refrigerated cinnamon rolls, and add in brown sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, cloves, and allspice.

Can I use canned peaches for my cobbler?

Yes, absolutely. We recommend using canned peaches because they are guaranteed to be nice and juicy. If you prefer you may use frozen peaches or fresh peaches instead of canned ones.

Do I need to use a specific cinnamon roll for my cobbler?

Our main recommendation is that you use raw cinnamon rolls, that have not been baked. You’ll want to bake them with the peaches for best results.

Our favorite is to use a tube of refrigerated cinnamon rolls from Aldi and cut them into quarters. This allows you to make a quick and easy cobbler that tastes fabulous.

How do I know when my cobbler is done baking?

To tell when your cobbler is done baking, the cinnamon rolls should be fully cooked, you can tell by inserting a toothpick into the dough. If the toothpick comes out with no residue on it, you’ll want to continue baking.

Another way you can tell is that the peaches should be bubbling. Once the peaches are bubbling, and the cinnamon rolls on top are cooked, you can remove the cobbler from the oven.

What do I do if my cobbler isn’t browning?

If the cobbler has been in the oven for half an hour and is not browning, but the cinnamon rolls are cooked, you can brush the cinnamon rolls with butter or oil and continue baking for a few more minutes.

You could also try increasing the oven temperature but keep a close eye on it so they do not burn.

My cobbler is too runny. What can I do?

Most likely if your cobbler is still runny it is not fully baked. Try continuing to bake the cobbler for another 5 to 10 minutes, or longer if needed.

Once it is fully baked, and bubbling around the edges, the cornstarch will have worked its magic and will have thickened the peach mixture.

What if I Don’t Like Peaches?

If you don’t like peaches, never fear, this recipe can be made with your favorite type of fruit. You can easily substitute these peaches for another type of fresh, frozen, or canned fruit that you enjoy.

This recipe can otherwise be prepared as instructed above, and simply swap out the fruit for your favorite type.
