A Gingerbread Man Cookie Kit is a wonderful package that anyone will be thrilled to receive. As soon as Thanksgiving is over, it’s time to get in the gift giving mode. And our favorite gifts to give are homemade gifts, plus this one is a bonus that it’s consumable.
There’s something about homemade gifts that are created with extra love and thoughtfulness. These kits can be filled with everything that’s needed so that the cookie decorating can begin as soon as the gift is opened.
In our gingerbread man cookie kit, we’re making gingerbread men. However, you can choose to make whatever shape you’d like. Christmas trees, angels, stars, bells or any other festive shape would be perfect for the occasion.
You can also trade out the flavor. If you prefer to make regular sugar cookie kits or any other flavor, that works too. For our purposes here, we’ll focus on Gingerbread Man Cookie Kits.
Gingerbread Men Cookie Decorating Kits
Part of the fun with Gingerbread Man Cookie Kits is choosing the packaging for the kit as well as what to put inside the package.
Some great choices for packaging are disposable plastic containers that can be found in the food storage section of the grocery store. Tie them with a ribbon to make them more festive or add a gift tag.
Seasonal Christmas tins also make a great container for your cookie kits. They can be found at the grocery store or dollar stores in middle to late fall.
Dress-em-up Gingerbread Kit Cookie
The other fun part of making cookie kits is deciding what to put inside. Obviously, you’ll want to include cookies. But choosing the sprinkles, candy, colors of icing and any other accompaniments is half the excitement. Have fun being creative. You might want to include some sweet treats for your decorators to enjoy while they work too.
