How To Prepare

You will want to begin preparing your stuffed mushrooms by taking each mushroom washing it, allowing it to dry, and then removing the stem. You will want to do this so that your mushroom has a place to add the stuffing to it. 

How to Make Stuffed Mushrooms:

After your mushrooms are prepared, it’s time to make the stuffing and fill your mushrooms.

In a mixing bowl, combine all of the ingredients for your stuffing. Stir to combine. We recommend using a cookie scoop for the best results.

Take your cookie scoop and scoop your filling and place it into the hollow of your mushroom. Place your mushrooms on a lightly greased baking sheet and bake at 350°F for approximately 10-15 minutes, or until you see the cheese start to melt.

Remove from the oven, and garnish with an additional sprinkle of Parmesan cheese, parsley, and Italian seasoning. Serve right away and enjoy.

Ingredients

16 oz baby bella mushrooms, washed, dried, and stemmed

½ Tbsp garlic minced

½ Tbsp lemon juice

1 Tbsp Italian seasoning 

¾ cup mozzarella 

1/3 cup parmesan

1 Tbsp melted butter

Salt, to taste

Step 1: Prepare The Mushrooms

Start off by preparing your mushrooms. To prepare, rinse your mushrooms in cold water and allow them to dry. Then, take each mushroom individually and pop the stem out using your thumb and finger from the center of each mushroom. Set aside. 

Step 2: Make The Stuffing

In a mixing bowl, combine all of your stuffing ingredients. Stir until mixed. 

Step 3: Stuff The Mushrooms

Take a small cookie scoop, or spoon and stuff the hollow of your mushrooms with filling. Make sure it is packed securely. Place each mushroom on a lightly greased baking sheet and preheat your oven to 350°F. 

Step 4: Into The oven 

After each mushroom has been stuffed, place your mushrooms on a baking sheet into the oven. Bake for approximately 10 to 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and your mushrooms are soft.

Remove from the oven, and sprinkle the top of each mushroom with Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and parsley if desired. Sprinkle with salt, then serve right away and enjoy.

  1. At the beginning,you stated green onions. No where in the recipe. 3/4 cup of mozzarella?? GRATED OR CUBED!!! Long story before you get to Recipe!!!!!

      I have updated the recipe card to help clarify your questions. The green onions are an optional ingredient. They can be added to the stuffing, or used as a topping. You may choose to use whatever type of Mozzarella cheese you prefer, our preference is to use shredded cheese. I hope this helps!
