To make the delicious meatloaf, you will first want to start out by making the meatloaf mixture. Add the thawed ground meat of your choice to a large bowl.
Add in the onion soup mix, Worcestershire sauce, eggs, and breadcrumbs on top of the ground beef mixture.
Mix the meat thoroughly, then form it into a loaf shape.
I like to use a meatloaf pan, or bread pan, so that it has edges to help hold its shape, but you could also use a baking sheet if desired.
Line your meatloaf pan with parchment paper, or spray it with cooking spray to help keep it from sticking.
Transfer the loaf-shaped meat to your prepared pan and place it into the preheated oven. Bake for approximately 1 hour.
After one hour has passed, use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature in the center of the meatloaf. Make sure that the internal temperature has reached an internal temperature of 165°F for it to be fully cooked, due to the egg contents.
When your meatloaf is nearing fully cooked, remove it from the oven, and make the sauce.
To make this sauce, combine your catch-up, brown sugar, and barbecue sauce together. Whisk to combine. Then add the sauce mixture on top of the meatloaf.
Place the meatloaf back into the oven and continue cooking for an additional 10-15 minutes so that the sauce caramelizes.
After your meatloaf has been fully cooked, you can remove it from the oven and allow address for a few minutes before serving. And then serve and enjoy your delicious Lipton onion soup meatloaf recipe!
