Thoroughly wash grapes and set them aside.

Place water and ½ cup of sugar in saucepan over medium heat and heat until the sugar is dissolved. When it’s ready, the solution will turn clear.
Add the washed grapes to the sugar syrup and gently stir until fully coated.
Using a slotted spoon, remove the grapes from the saucepan and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Arrange the grapes so they’re not touching each other.
Let the grapes sit for 1 hour.
Add remaining granulated sugar to a shallow bowl and dip each grape into the sugar being sure that it’s fully coated.
Place the grapes back on the baking sheet, making sure they’re not touching. Let them sit for 1 hour. Serve and enjoy.
