Preheat oven to 375F. Heat half the oil in a skillet until hot. Add the quartered radicchio and brown on all sides. Place in an appropriate baking dish that is large enough to hold the radicchio without stacking it in the pan.
Sauté the onion and garlic in the remaining oil in the skillet. Cook for 2 minutes until softened and slightly browned. Add the wine and the vinegar to the sauté pan and bring to a boil. Pour over the radicchio.
Season the components of the dish with salt and pepper. Place the rosemary on the top.Bake at 375F for 40 minutes, until radicchio is tender.Enjoy Braised Balsamic Radicchio!
