Prepare your blueberries by washing them and allowing them to drain. Pat dry.
Place a medium sized saucepan over medium low heat and add the blueberries. Mix in the sugar and water.
Bring to a gentle boil. Stir consistently and boil for 5 minutes. Smash blueberries to desired consistency and continue stirring. The mixture should thicken as it cooks and will thicken even more after it cools.
Serve warm or cool and enjoy!
