Although this is not a requirement, we highly recommend that you allow your frozen dinner rolls to rise before baking. To do this, it is ideal to place your dinner rolls on your lightly greased baking dish and place them in a warm (75 to 85°F) in a dry location.
Once your roles have risen, to approximately double in size, preheat your air fryer to 320°F.
Bake your dinner rolls at 320°F for approximately 5 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
After your dinner rolls are fully cooked, remove them from the air fryer and brush the tops with butter. If desired allow them to cool slightly before serving. Then serve and enjoy!
Notes
Please note that this recipe was tested using a ninja air fryer oven combination and baking times and temperatures may vary depending upon what specific type of air fryer you are using. Please also note that you can use dinner rolls that are frozen and have not been thawed. To do this, you will want to bake your dinner rolls at 360°F for approximately 12 to 15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. However, it is important to point out that if you do not choose to thaw your dinner rolls ahead of time, they are likely to not rise nearly as much as ones that have been pre-thawed. Test Kitchen Note: this recipe was tested using homemade dinner rolls, that were thawed and allowed to rise before baking in the air fryer. Store-bought dinner rolls were out of stock at my local grocery store when testing this recipe.
