These copycat Tyson blackened chicken strips can be spiced with cayenne pepper or toned down by leaving it out. They can be ready in less than 30 minutes of cook time and are perfect to serve with dip.
2poundsboneless skinless chicken breast cut into strips
2tsppaprika
1½tspgarlic powder
1tsponion powder
½tspdried oregano
½tspcayenne pepper
1tspsalt
½tspblack pepper
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400F degrees. Prepare a baking sheet, covering it with foil and spraying the foil with non-stick cooking spray.
Cut chicken into desired strips. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
In a small mixing bowl, mix the spices together and evenly distribute them on the chicken. Make sure the chicken is fully coated.
Bake for 15-20 minutes, depending on the thickness of the chicken, or until the chicken is done. Serve and enjoy!
