Preheat oven to 350°F
In a mixing bowl, start by mixing together butter and Crisco. This is called creaming your butter. Once it looks creamy, you can stop mixing.
Next add in your sugar, and egg then mix to combine.
Add baking soda, baking powder, salt, vanilla, honey, cinnamon, flour, and quick oats to your mixing bowl. Once, all of the ingredients have been added, allow your ingredients to mix until the dough forms.
Add chocolate chips and mix just until they are combined into the dough.
Roll dough into balls that are about 1 inch in diameter. Place balls about 2 inches apart on a greased cookie sheet. Bake for 8-12 minutes. Once baked, remove from the oven and allow them to sit on the cookie sheet for a few moments before moving to a cooling rack or dish towel to completely cool. Enjoy while still warm or after cooled.
