Begin by taking each slice of bread and cutting off the crust. Be careful to stay as close to the edge as you can.
Next, take your bread slices with the crust removed and lay them out in a row of four slices. Pinch the edges between the four so that they form one long piece of bread.
Once your pieces of bread are pinched together, take your butter. Be sure that it is soft enough to spread easily. Liberally cover the top of each section of bread. Then, take brown sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over the top. Smooth it out with your hand to be sure that all of the bread is covered.
Now that you have your sections of bread covered, take a pizza cutter and cut each section of bread and cut in half the long way. Then, take each section of bread and roll one into the next, so that you end up with one large roll of bread. Place your roll into a six or eight-inch cake pan.
Egg Topping
In a mixing bowl, combine eggs, cream, milk, and vanilla. Whisk until ingredients are combined. Pour over the top of your bread roll. You may have to pour a portion of the egg mixture and allow it to seep in before adding the remaining eggs.
Now your French toast cinnamon swirl is ready to bake. Preheat your oven to 400°F and bake for 30 minutes. Check on it to see if it looks done yet or not. If it does not appear to be done, increase your temperature to 425°F and bake for an additional 10-20 minutes. Remove from oven.
Glaze
Mix together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla. Drizzle on top of your dish that is fresh out of the oven. Serve immediately and enjoy!
