To make coffee extract, using vodka, coffee beans, or ground coffee is quite easy. All you have to do is combine one-part whole coffee beans, or coarsely ground coffee with two parts vodka.
It works best if you combine these two ingredients into a glass container or jar with a lid, so that it can be sealed, but you can still see the mixture.
Then once combined, store it in a cool, dark place, such as a cupboard or pantry. Shake or stir the mixture once a day, for at least one week, or up to one month.
You’ll be able to tell when the extract is finished brewing because the vodka will have absorbed the coffee, so that it is a delicious coffee flavor, and is the color of brewed coffee.
When you are finished with the brewing process, pour the extract into a French press, or through a coffee filter, or a fine mesh sieve so that you can easily remove the coffee beans or ground coffee.
Store the extract in a cool dry location, in an airtight container.
