Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
To begin making peach cobbler with a cake mix start by opening your canned peaches. Lightly grease a 9x13 baking dish then pour the peaches into the pan.
Sprinkle the peaches with brown sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves if desired. Stir to combine.
Open the boxed cake mix. Sprinkle it over the peaches so that it is evenly distributed and covers the entire pan.
Thinly slice your cold butter, and place the pieces evenly distributed on top of the cake mix.
Place your cobbler into the preheated oven and bake for 30 to 40 minutes, or until the top of your cobbler is a golden brown color and is bubbling around the edges.
Remove from the oven and allow it to cool for a few minutes before serving. Serve and enjoy!
