To make your strawberry milk tea first begin by making your strawberry mixture. Mush or cut your strawberries into small pieces.
In a medium-size saucepan combine strawberries, granulated sugar, lemon juice, and cornstarch. Heat stirring consistently until your mixture becomes liquid and begins to thicken lightly.
Remove from the heat and allow it to cool. You can even place your strawberry mixture into the fridge so that it chills if desired.
Prepare Boba
If you are using store-bought Boba follow the package instructions to heat it and then add brown sugar or honey.
Allowed to cool, then chill in the refrigerator if desired.
Brew Tea
In a small saucepan add one cup of water and place your pan over medium heat. Allow the water to heat so it becomes hot and begins to simmer lately. Add your teabag and allow it to sleep for three minutes. Remove your teabag and chill the tea.
Assemble
Once all of your components are prepared and have had a chance to chill, it’s time to assemble your strawberry milk tea.
In a tall glass, add your prepared Boba pearls. You want approximately 1/8 cup for each glass of tea. Next, add approximately 1/4 cup of the strawberry mixture, and 1/8 to 1/4 cup of your prepared tea (to taste). Sweeten if desired with simple syrup or your favorite sweetener. Now, it’s time to add your milk.
Stir to combine your tea, then top with fresh strawberries if desired. Serve your freshly prepared strawberry milk tea and enjoy!
