Crispitos are made with ground beef, shredded cheddar cheese, and seasonings. They’re tightly wrapped in a flour and corn tortilla shell and are perfect for dipping in your favorite queso sauce, salsa, or sour cream.
10corn and flour blend tortilla shells or flour tortilla shells
1poundground beef
1 ¼cupsshredded cheddar cheese
1tsporegano
1tspgarlic powder
1tspsalt
½tspcumin
pinchof ground pepper
cooking oil
Optional Garnish:
tomato
onion
shredded lettuce
sour cream
guacamole
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350F degrees.
Add seasonings including cumin, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and oregano to the beef. Mix well.
Add beef mixture to the tortilla shell and roll tightly.
Rub oil on all sides of the crispitos.
Add taquitos to a foil lined baking sheet and bake for about 8 minutes, until they’re golden brown
Garnish. Serve with dip, salsa, sour cream of your choice and enjoy.
