To make Trader Joe’s Taiwanese Green Onion Pancakes, you’ll create a basic all-purpose flour dough and let it rest. Shape the pancakes and allow those to rest. Chop the green onions and apply them to the outside of the pancakes, along with oil for frying. Fry them until browned.
In an electric stand mixer with dough attachment, mix together all-purpose flour and ½ teaspoon salt.
Slowly add water and mix for 2 minutes. Cover with a cloth and let rest for 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, wash green onions and cut them.
Shape the dough into a ball and divide it into 4 pieces and roll out each piece.
Brush each piece with oil and add green onion. Let stand for 30 minutes.
Heat a non-stick pan to medium heat. Pour ½ tablespoon of vegetable oil into the pan.
Add pancake and cook until lightly browned. Flip and cook remaining side.
