Begin by taking each slice of bread and cutting it into your shapes. Then take two slices of bread to make one sandwich.
After your shapes are cut, discard your crust, and fill the sandwiches with your cheese slices, and optional ham slices. Fold inside or remove any filling that is hanging out of your sandwich.
After your sandwiches are cut to shape and filled, it is time to seal around the edges of your Uncrustables. Take a fork, or your fingers and pinch the edges of the bread together around the entire sandwich. Brush the outside of your sandwiches with soft butter.
Next, after your Uncrustable sandwiches are completely assembled and buttered on both sides, you can either air fry your sandwiches, or warm them in a skillet on your stovetop. To air fry, place your sandwiches in your air fryer basket, air fry at 375°F for approximately three minutes on each side flipping in between. Depending upon your air fryer, you may want to allow them to air fry for a few more minutes. Your sandwiches should be a light golden brown on the outside and melted cheese on the inside when they are done. Serve well hot and enjoy!
Alternatively, if you would rather cook your grilled cheese Uncrustable sandwiches on your stovetop, simply heat a skillet over medium-low heat until warmed. Then add your buttered Uncrustable sandwiches and cook over medium-low heat for approximately three to five minutes on each side, or until the outside of your sandwich is a light golden brown. Serve well hot and enjoy!
