This grilled to perfection sandwich is made with two kinds of cheese, mozzarella and white cheddar that make it ooey-gooey. And the outside of the bread is coated with a seriously delicious parmesan and butter mixture.
Mix together softened butter and parmesan cheese and apply to a single side to each slice of bread.
Gently lay the bread down, buttered side down. Add the slices of cheese and close the sandwich with buttered sides out.
Place in the frying pan and toast each side for 2-3 minutes until golden brown and cheese is melted.
Serve hot and enjoy!
Notes
When making a Starbucks grilled cheese sandwich, here are a few tips and tricks to help give you perfect results every time. Cheese Selection. Use cheese that is not pre-grated. If you’re wanting to use shredded cheese, then we recommend shredding your own. This will help to avoid the anti-caking agent that is included in pre-shredded cheese. How to Achieve ooey-gooey. For the best ooey-goey cheese results, we like to use cheese slices. If you’re slicing your own cheese, you’ll want to make them relatively thin so that they can melt with relative ease. How to Melt Cheese. If you’re having trouble getting your cheese to melt, keep the temperature on medium low and cover the sandwich with a small lid. Flip the sandwich after a minute or two and replace the lid until the cheese is melted through.
