What Flavor Of Kool-Aid Should I Use?

There are many, many flavors of Kool-Aid you can choose from. Deciding which one to use is often one of the biggest battles.

The two things to consider when making this pie are, what flavors you enjoy, and what color you are looking for. Both will play a factor in choosing which flavor of Kool-Aid for your pie.

There’s no right or wrong answer for what flavor you should use, you will want to be sure to choose one that you will enjoy eating, and one that has a pretty appearance as well.

How Many Packages of Kool Aid Will I Need?

Unless you want your pie quite strong in flavor, or you were making more than one 8 or 9-inch pie, you will only need to use one package of Kool-Aid. One package that is approximately .22 ounces or 6.2 g, will make one pie.

You may choose to use two packages if you want extra flavor, however sometimes adding two whole packages can be a bit overpowering. We recommend using one package per pie.

Can I Use Different Flavors Of Kool Aid?

For each pie, we would recommend that you use just one packet or one flavor of Kool-Aid. However, if you are making more than one pie, you can make each pie have its own flavor.
