Why Use an Air Fryer
Using your air fryer is a great way to cook frozen turkey burgers. When you cook in an air fryer, it circulates hot air all around the food, which allows it to turn out with a slightly crispy texture, as if the food had been deep-fried.
Plus, you don’t have to heat up your large oven, when you are cooking something small, like a turkey burger.
Now, let’s look at what you will need in order to make some easy and delicious frozen turkey burgers in the air fryer.

Once the air fryer is preheated, open the air fryer, and place the turkey burger patties inside the air fryer basket in a single layer, with space around each patty if possible.
Close the air fryer, and air fry at 375°F (190°C) for approximately 12 to 18 minutes, or until the internal temperature of your turkey burger reaches at least 165°F (74°C).
Once your turkey burger is done, remove it from the air fryer, assemble your burger, serve and enjoy!

How Long to Cook Turkey Burgers in Air Fryer
The amount of time it takes for a turkey burger to cook at 375°F (190°C) so that the internal temperature reaches at least 165°F (74°C) may vary depending upon your specific air fryer.
We estimate that it will take between 12 and 18 minutes for the burger to cook, however, you may need to add or subtract some time for your burger to turn out perfectly.
I have an instant vortex mini air fryer, and it takes approximately 10 minutes for my frozen turkey burger to reach 165°F on the inside of the burger when cooked at 375°F.
Please note that the time will vary depending upon how frozen your burger patties are, and the air fryer you are using.

Tips and Tricks
How do you make frozen turkey burgers taste better? Although not required, we do recommend rubbing your turkey burger with a little bit of Worcestershire sauce before it is cooked.
This will help to enhance the overall flavor of your burger. We also recommend sprinkling your frozen burger patty with garlic salt, salt, and pepper as desired.

Room temperature. Your turkey burgers should not be left at room temperature any longer than two hours before they go bad.
Refrigerator. To store your leftover turkey burgers for longer, you’ll want to place them into an airtight container or steal the patties in a plastic storage bank. Then place the patties into the refrigerator for up to 3 to 4 days.
Freezer. If needed, you can also refreeze turkey burgers after they have been cooked. To do this, you will only want to freeze the cooked turkey burger patty, seal it in an airtight container, or plastic freezer bag. Then place it in the freezer for up to three months.

Air fryer. One of the best ways you can reheat leftover turkey burgers is in the air fryer. To reheat, preheat your air fryer to 350°F, then add your turkey burgers to the air fryer basket. Air fry for approximately 8 to 10 minutes, or until they are warmed through.
Stovetop. Another easy way to reheat your leftover turkey burgers is on the stovetop in a skillet. To do this place the skillet over medium heat, then add your patties. Reheat the patties on both sides until they are warmed through.
Microwave. Although we do not recommend this method as much, you can also eat your leftover turkey burger patties in the microwave. To do this, place onto a microwave-safe plate, then microwave for 1 minute to 1 minute and 30 seconds or until the patties are warmed all the way through.
Oven. You can also reheat leftover turkey burgers in the oven if you wish. This works best when you are reheating a large number of patties. Preheat the oven to 350°F, then place the patties onto a rimmed cookie sheet. Bake in the oven at 350°F for approximately 10 to 12 minutes or until the patties are warmed through.
Grill. Another way you can reheat leftover frozen turkey burger patties is on the grill. Preheat your grill to approximately 350°F, then add your patties directly to the grill grates. Heat the patties on both sides until they are warmed.
