Air fryer. You can use any brand of air fryer that you have. We have an Instant Mini brand air fryer, but any brand will work. You may simply need to adjust the air frying times if you are using a larger air fryer.
Ingredients Needed
Frozen popcorn chicken. There are many different brands of frozen popcorn chicken available. This recipe will work for any brand, simply be sure that your chicken is pre-cooked.
Otherwise, you will want to be sure that the chicken reaches the internal temperature of 165°F before it is consumed.
Dipping sauce. Feel free to have your favorite dipping sauce on hand so that once your chicken is prepared you can serve it along with your favorite kind of sauce.

How to make Frozen Popcorn Chicken in the Air Fryer
Begin by preheating your air fryer to 400°F (204°C) if required for your air fryer.
Once it is preheated, remove your frozen popcorn chicken from the freezer, open the bag, and pour the popcorn chicken into the air fryer basket so that it is in a single layer preferably with space in between if possible.
Replace the air fryer basket and close your air fryer. Air fry your popcorn chicken at 400°F (204°C) for approximately 10 to 12 minutes, or until it is warmed all the way through. You can use an instant-read thermometer or simply cut a piece of the chicken open to be sure it is warmed.
If you would like the chicken extra crispy, continue air frying it for another 2 to 5 minutes, checking on the chicken often so that it does not burn.
When it is done to your preference, remove the popcorn chicken from the air fryer, serve it alongside your favorite dipping sauce, and enjoy!

Tips for Success
Cook Frozen. We recommend that you air fry your frozen popcorn chicken directly from the freezer. That’s why you do not have to allow time for your chicken to thaw, and it can be ready in a matter of minutes.
If you do happen to use thawed chicken, then you’ll want to decrease your cooking time that we have recommended above.
Adjust Time. Depending upon your specific air fryer, you may need to slightly adjust the cooking times for the popcorn chicken.
Each air fryer cooks a little differently from the next, so you may need more or less time in your air fryer.
On average though, planning on 10 minutes of air fry time for frozen popcorn chicken should generally work.

Room Temperature. Popcorn chicken should be kept at room temperature for no more than two hours before it spoils and has to be thrown away. For longer storage, it can be stored in the fridge.
In the fridge. Popcorn chicken can last for 3 to 4 days when stored in the air tight container, or sealed in a plastic storage bag and kept in the fridge.
Reheating Popcorn Chicken
Air fryer. We recommend reheating your leftover popcorn chicken in the air fryer for the best results.
To do this, you can place it back in the air fryer basket at 400°F (204°C) for approximately 5 to 10 minutes or until it is warmed through.
Microwave. Although this is not one of our desirable methods, you can reheat leftover popcorn chicken in the microwave if needed.
To reheat in the microwave, play in a microwave-safe bowl or plate and cover with a lightly damp paper towel. Microwave for one to two minutes until the chicken is warm.
Oven. Another way you can reheat your leftover popcorn chicken is in the oven.
To do this place the popcorn chicken on a cookie sheet with rims and placed it into the oven. Bake at 400°F (204°C) for approximately 10 minutes or until the chicken is warm.
