How to Make Air Fryer Frozen Egg Rolls

Begin by preheating your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) if required by your air fryer.

Move your frozen egg rolls from the freezer and open the packaging. Arrange the frozen egg rolls in your air fryer basket so that there is still space in between each egg roll.

If desired you can brush each egg roll with oil, but this is not required.

Add your air fryer basket back to the air fryer and close the air fryer. Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for approximately 10 to 12 minutes, or until the egg rolls are cooked to your desired level of crispiness.

Remove the egg rolls from your fryer, serve alongside your favorite dipping sauce, and enjoy!

How long do you heat egg rolls in the air fryer?

Exactly how long it takes for your frozen egg rolls to cook in the air fryer will vary depending upon your specific air fryer, and how many egg rolls you are trying to cook.

On average, when air frying them at 375°F (190°C), it will take approximately 10 to 12 minutes to cook your egg rolls to perfection. You may need to slightly adjust the cooking time for your air fryer.

Variations

Using an Air Fryer Oven or Convection Oven

A variation of this recipe is to prepare your frozen egg rolls in a convection oven rather than in an air fryer. To bake a cross in your oven, your first want to preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Once the oven is preheated, and the egg rolls to a cookie sheet, and if desired you can brush them with a bit of oil. Add the cookie sheet into the oven and bake your egg rolls for approximately 20 minutes or until they are warmed through.

Tips for Success

Cook Frozen. We strongly recommend that you cook your egg rolls directly from the freezer. This will allow them to become nice and crispy, and you do not have to worry about them becoming mushy as they thaw.

Adjust the Cook Time. Depending upon your specific air fryer, you may need to slightly adjust the air frying time for the egg rolls. Feel free to set the timer for slightly less time than you think it will need, then add more time as needed.

Brush with Oil. Although not required, we do recommend that you brush the egg rolls with a bit of olive oil before they are air fried. This allows them to become extra crispy on the outside and turn a lovely golden brown color.

Storage

Room temperature. Your egg rolls should be left at room temperature for no more than two hours before they go bad.

In the refrigerator. For longer storage, please store egg rolls in an airtight container, or save them in a plastic storage bag. Then place into the fridge for up to 3 to 4 days.

How to Reheat Egg Rolls

Air fryer. Our preferred method to reheat leftover egg rolls is of course to place them back into the air fryer basket. Air fry them at 375°F for approximately 5 to 10 minutes or until they are warmed through.

In the Oven. You can also reheat leftover egg rolls in the oven. To do this preheat the oven to 375°F, then place your leftover egg rolls on a cookie sheet.

Add to the oven and bake for approximately 10 to 15 minutes or until the egg rolls are warmed through.

Microwave. You can also reheat leftover egg rolls in the microwave. Please note this method does tend to make them somewhat soggy, and we do not recommend it.

To reheat in the microwave, place egg rolls onto a microwave-safe plate, and microwave for one to two minutes until they are warm.
