You Will Need

Eggs

The eggs you are going to want to use can be of any kind as long as they are basic, normal eggs. Our copycat recipe is for one serving, however, you can add as many eggs as you wish, to enjoy more servings.

American Cheese

American cheese is the best kind of cheese to use for your copycat Waffle House cheese eggs. While there are many different types of American cheese you can use, my favorite kind is the melty cheese that comes in slices that are individually wrapped. Because this kind of cheese is naturally melty, it makes the best cheese to cook into your eggs.

Butter

Although oil may be used in place of butter, the best results for this recipe are obtained by using butter. When you use butter, it helps to enhance the overall flavor of your eggs, making them taste epically delicious.

I love cheesy eggs from Waffle House. These were a brilliant copycat, I have tried making them at home before but they were never quite right. Butter plus melting the American cheese must be the key. Thank you for sharing.
